Manchester United announce signing of Anthony Martial on four-year deal
Manchester United have completed the signing of Anthony Martial from AS Monaco on a four-year deal said to be worth £36 million.
The 19-year-old is a highly-rated forward who has been compared to a young Thierry Henry, but is still largely unproven at the highest level
Martial is now the most expensive teenager of all time but fans are skeptical about the signing given that he’s only scored 15 goals in his senior club career.
Monaco bought him from Lyon two years ago for £5 million in a deal that many thought was excessive at the time. It proved to be a shrewd move.
Martial looks like he will be United’s only deadline day arrival with the club still quite limited on their attacking options this season.

We cannot guarantee Olympic stadium deadline- JAPAN
Japan said Tuesday that it cannot guarantee that the main stadium for the 2020 Games will be completed by January that year as requested by the International Olympic Committee. Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, scrapped Japan’s original plan for the main venue after construction costs ballooned to 252 billion yen (2 billion dollars) from an initially projected 130 billion yen, which provoked public outrage.
Tokyo is expected to come up with a new plan by the end of August this year. “It is going to be April 2020 on a very tight schedule,” Olympic Minister, Toshiaki Endo, said, referring to the estimated completion date, after holding talks with IOC vice president John Coates.
Coates asked Endo to deliver the stadium by January 2020 so the organising committee would have enough time to run a string of tests before the opening of the Tokyo Games in late July that year. “We can ask the contractors to push it, but we have no idea if it’s doable,” Endo said.

Oscar Pistorius to stay in prison for foreseeable future after Justice Minister rejects early release
Oscar Pistorius will not be released from prison on Friday, the South African Justice Department has confirmed.
The Paralympian athlete was expected to be released from prison in Pretoria to carry out the rest of his sentence under house arrest at his uncle’s home. However, the Justice Minister said releasing him after he had served just ten months of his five-year sentence was "premature".
The 28-year-old's family said they were "shocked and disappointed" by the decision on Wednesday.

I'm ready to get back to my best--Januzaj
Manchester United
winger Adnan Januzaj says he feels ready to rediscover his best form, after
scoring his first goal of the season against Aston
Villa on Friday.
The Belgian's
first-half strike was enough to earn the Reds a maiden victory on the road this
season, after he was recalled to the starting line-up for the first time since
11 February.
Facing the media alongside Louis van Gaal ahead of Tuesday's
crucial Champions League play-off first leg against Club Brugge, Januzaj said
he's improving all the time under the manager's guidance.
