Man United to offer £65m plus top player in huge part-exchange transfer bid

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is apparently even closer to moving to Real Madrid, his long preferred destination.
Man United are hoping to land Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, and the Daily Express reports that they will make one last attempt to sign him by offering £65m with De Gea in return.
The Red Devils already tried to pursue one other Real Madrid superstar, as they went after defender Sergio Ramos before he was locked up to a contract extension.

They also attempted to use De Gea as bait to land Ramos like they are currently doing with Bale.
This is being considered a blockbuster deal that would work well for both sides.
“This would be the perfect deal for the club,” a club source told The Express.
“It would cost them a lot of money but Gareth Bale is one of the world’s biggest stars, while goalkeeper David de Gea has made it clear he wants to leave.”
Man United have been looking to upgrade their attack since the loss of striker Robin van Persie.
Their plans to sign former Barcelona winger Pedro shockingly fell through as he transferred to Chelsea instead.
Bale may be just the solution the Red Devils need to boost their attack, as they are currently reliant on Wayne Rooney.
Rooney just recently snapped out of a funk with three goals in the Red Devils’ 4-0 Champions League win over Club Brugge.
The Red Devils are hoping to find another consistent scoring option though.
